Sad but true....
Further to Dave Scotts mention of WOF 3 in his Tattle, I thought I would expand on what I have found out.
After
one of those Chance Meetings at an Autojumble My Father Mentioned
Turner to a gentleman who said those magic words ''I had one of
those!!''
Turn's out the Man had bought WOF 3 from Bob Gerrard
Garages , and had shared the car with his brother for Road Use, The car
was repainted Primrose Yellow ? and was eventually driven accidentally
in to a telegraph pole and written off sometime Mid 60s.
The running gear was put in to a Midget and the Number re-registered on to a Triumph GT6.
The Same guy claims to have seen the registration WOF 4 on a Jaguar in the Birmingham area a couple of years ago.
Sadly No Confirmed Chassis Numbers on these cars .
