: Does anybody have information & guidelines for the removal of the body from the steel structure to allow the latter to be overhauled & treated against rust etc?

It's really very straight forward. I approached doing it with great trepidation. I asked all of the Turner people whose addresses I had. A few came back with reasonable details. So, I tackled it.

Here's my recollection of what I did:
Start at the inside. Undo all of the bolts that go through the floor & rear of the passenger compartment. Don't skip the two way up to the front. Remove trunk (boot) lid & hood/bonnet. Remove doors. In the trunk, undo the gas tank, inner suspension covers & look for the small bolts along the sides - they attach the rear body supports. Undo bumpers if attached.
Up front, disconnect the horn if mounted to the cross member. Remove front "bumper" bolts. Unhook speedo cable, fuel line, battery cable, choke & throttle cables, brake & clutch lines to master cylinders. Lastly, undo clamp on steering column at box. Pull steering shaft out of collar. That's pretty much it. I may have missed a thing or two. But, maybe not.

Get under rear fender wells, undo all bolts that go through rear (horizontal) support pieces into trunk. Check for any other obvious attachments. You should be ready to lift.

I had 3 friends come over & the most difficult part was getting the floor to clear the plate that had been welded to the main chassis tube for the forward roll bar support. It took some prying & bending. Position one person at either side - forward hand at upper rear of front wheel arch, rear hand on door hinge. Other two - one at front of body, other at rear. Lift.

Total time involved about 2 hours from start to finish.
