Just to let you know that the Turner 66-655 is now owned by myself, which i purchased late last year from Andy Bird.
It is in a dissassembled state & whilst some re-conditioning has taken place as it was some time ago needs a complete overhaul.Unfortunately some repair work was carried out to fit a new half front which has been poorly done, in the process of the repair the fibreglass shell has been bonded with fibreglass onto the inner tub. All this must be undone to fully treat the inner tub to ensure it will not corrode then repair the shell & fit correctly.
Engine work was started on the basis of fitting a cross flow engine & later gearbox by Andy but work stopped before the assembly stage, consiquently some of the parts are missing & some corroded.
I am told the chassis was completely overhauled but has since suffered some superficial surface corrosion & therefore will need stripping & re-painting & in the process check that the work has been done correctly.
It is therefore going to be a little time before it is on the road again.

: I am currently working on transferring all recorded Turner Data on individual cars to a spreadsheet from the Turner register. I would be happy to recieve any additional information on your history, Engine Numbers, previous owners, racing history, previous registration numbers ect ect that may be additional to what we already have documented so as to keep the register as complete and up to date as possible. Please feel free to email details on your cars any time and quote your Chassis Number.

: Many Thanks
