I have heard of "race ready" cars starting at about $18k - many not really race ready and have had lots of needed "tinkering",

And I've heard "rumors as high as $40k" for a "race proven" top finisher.

I'm currently rebuilding a road car imported from the UK ($10k) a few years ago into a VSCCA race car and the project will most likely be around the $18k range when completed - not including my labor (that's free - right &: )

With the decreasing value of the US$ compared to the pound, our cars are better investments than real investments - honey, can I buy a couple more!!!!!

Agree/ disagree????

Hope this helps.

: What is a fair price for a 950s with VSCCA log book? The car needs some "tinkering" but is complete and includes most of the stock equipment. Thanks
