: I have hit a snag with the restoration of 30/222 in that the Brake and Clutch Master Cylinders were missing from the car prior to my ownership. I have two replacement Cylinders (Standard 10) but I am stuck for the Pedal Push Rods - If anyone can help it would be very much appreciated - Did Any of our racers upgrade their Pedal Boxes and have the originals spare ???

Hi Russ,

It's easy. All Girling Master Cylinders have the same end on them that sits in the piston. Get one that is too long. Make the u-shaped piece that fits on the pedals. Insert master cylinder & push rod into firewall. Bolt master cylinder into place. Climb under dash. Install u-shaped piece with clivis pin to pedal. Adjust pedal height to where you want it. Mark rod at end of u-shaped piece. Disassemble all. Weld u-shaped piece to rod. Your done.

Hope this helps.

Wally
