ALEXANDER HEADS

All Turner Owners,

I just found this post on the Turner site and am
interested in knowing if you still have the
information and parts for these Alexander heads. I
have been trying for years to put the head I have on
my Mk1 Sprite. I would like to have this head installed on my engine for the Austin Healey Sprite 50th anniversary celebration planned in 2008.

Hi All,

I have now received a copy of the blueprints that Bob
Rees obtained in 1977 and have begun to get prices for
a few of the "Consumable bits". The first one I am
tackling is the rocker shaft. It will obviously be
cheaper to get a small number in one go rather than
just one, so would anyone be interested in purchasing
a brand new rocker shaft for their Alexander Xflow
head? These are made to the original spec drawings by
a very reputable company. Anyone interested, please
let me know and as soon as I have a price i will let
them say yes or no. One thing is for certain though,
these shafts do wear and it would be cheaper to buy in
a small batch than have one off made. by the way I
will pass these on at cost, I am not looking to make a
profit.

The next thing I am looking into is valve guides.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Mark F.
