This Turner 950S was bought new by John Barnes of Selsey, A Very good amature driver and skilled competitor in hill climb and sprints. In 1960 John with Gerry Clear from Emsworth as co-driver competed with the car in the RAC Rally of Great Britain. The car also competed in many other sothern motor sport events and in 1961 ventured north for its 2nd Scottish Rally with the current owners father Peter Brierley. The car is pictured here in the ownership of Stuart Brierley at the 2011 Goodwood Revival meeting where this car has an extensive racing history.
