Turner Sports Cars   Missing Turner 724 ERC

This BMC powered Turner was raced by John Seabrook as part of Gordon Unsworth's Team Turner.   A sister car to the famous Tatty Turner,61/441 was registerd 724 ERC in Derbyshire and was raced with much success by John. The whereabouts of this car today is unknown.

More information about the racing accomplishments of this Turner and Team Turner can be found in an article "Turner", in the May 1977 issue of Thoroughbred and Classic Cars magazine.


Following John Seabrook's successful racing with this car,it was sold on and during the later 1960's came in to the ownership of racing driver Chris Smith. Chris began his competition life by sprinting and hillclimbing Turners and this picture shows Chris at the wheel of 61/441 racing at Prescott during 1967.
