Dr. Edward Carden is racing this Mk II successfully with the VARA in Southern California (2003).  This care was sold new in the UK as a complete kit to a Mr Crump and was originally registerd with 862 AW and in 1984 with AJF 301A .  The car was raced in the UK with success in the 80's and early 90's by Robin Knight and Ian Thompson with the 750 Motor Club , and exported to the USA in 1996. When Dr Carden aquired the car it was Silver with a black stripe and carried numbers 144 (See below) Reg. No. TED 100, 862 AW, and AJF 301A

The top picture is Snetterton in 1993.  The bottom one is Cadwell Park, believed to have also been taken in 1993.   Both races were in the 750mc road going sports car series.  Both pictures were taken by Steve Jones.
