This famous Turner Ford 1500 racing car was ordered from the factory by Ron Kistler of Quakertown, PA for D-Production racing in SCCA. The car was delivered through a Turner/Morgan dealer in Reading, PA and had alot of racing success. The car was later owned by Alan Modney, who also had racing success with the car and after being stored for 5 years the car was purchased by Mike Muckle of Virginia who restored the car and raced with further success until late 2007 when Mike sold the car to a new owner in Virginia. A very original example with a well documented racing history.
The car was featured in an article in the March 1983 issue of Autoweek.
