Turner Sports Cars   Unknown & Missing Turner RB 247

RB 247 was supplied to Barwell by Jack Turner together with a second car for George Morgan, (Reg. No. 776 NPF)  They were prepared and entered by Barwell Motors in the 1960 Autosport Championship where.  Robin Bryant won the 1000cc Class with RB 247. Robin sold the car in 1961 and it was known to have been fitted out with a Coventry Climax engine and raced by John L'aime in Northern Ireland during 1962 and 1963. Dermont Healey owned teh car around 1967 in Northern Ireland when the car was in a state of disrepair but since then the car has gone missing and the chassis number is unknown to the register.  If you have any Information or history on the whereabouts or fate of RB 247, or indeed any Turner Sports Car, please contact the Turner registrar.
